Standard Duty StoreWALL is incredibly strong, rugged and waterproof: ideal for the most demanding applications. It easily installs on any surface; wood studs, drywall, concrete and metal studs using our innovative InstallStrip hidden fastener system, allowing for fast and easy installation.

INSTALL STRIP
Our innovative InstallStrip is a smart mounting solution for Standard Duty StoreWALL, made from high-strength rolled steel and cleverly designed to allow easy installation on nearly any surface, including metal or wood studs, drywall, concrete, and block.
TRIM SELECTION
StoreWALL’s trim installs easily with conventional fasteners and helps keep your garage looking clean and finished. Trim options include: flat trim for butt joints and inside corners, small “L” trim for wall end caps, and large “LT” trim for outside wall corners.
INVISIBLE FASTENERS
The standard screws used to secure our Standard Duty StoreWALL are available in all the same colors as our StoreWALL panels, making them almost invisible when installed. These screws are zinc-plated and rust-resistant.
INSTALL Options
Option 1: Install strips
For the highest load capacity and a flawless finish with no visible screw heads, use InstallStrips to mount slatwall—simply secure the strips to wall studs, then hang the panels onto the strips for a sturdy, professional-looking installation.

option 2: screw & glue
This method o ers an excellent balance of installation speed and load capacity while delivering a clean nish. Apply adhesive to the back of the slatwall, position it on the wall, and secure it to the studs with our color-matched screws.

Products Required: StoreWALL Standard Duty (SD) Panel, Glue (Recommend Lepage’s PL-400 Joist Glue), Screws.

option 3: screw only
This method is the fastest option but o ers a the lowest load capacity. Position the slatwall on the wall, then secure it to the studs with color-matched screws. When matched properly, the nish can be just as clean as the Screw & Glue method.

INSTALL Tips
01. PANEL LOCATION PLANNING
Avoid going tight against your ceiling. Leave at least ½”-1” space from the top of your panel to the ceiling.
02. LOCATE STUDS
Use a stud nder to locate stud locations. If you want to double check stud locations, drive a screw into where the area identi ed by your stud finder. If the screw tightens, remove it and continue installation. If the screw spins and doesn’t tighten, recheck your wall with your stud finder.
Helpful info: Most homes are built using 16” stud centers, but some newer homes are constructed using 24” stud centers.
03. STARTING PANEL INSTALLATION
Start from the bottom. A laser level is useful but not required. If installing by yourself, consider using a 12″ install strip to use as an extra set of hands. Hang the strip
toward the outside of the panel and hang the panel on it (Image 3A). Level the panel and screw it into place. Do not over tighten screws. Aim for the installed head to be flush with the panel (Image 3B).
04. TIP FOR LARGER WALLS
If your wall is wider than 8’, you can assemble your wall
using an o set pattern to avoid long unsighly seams.
We‘ll use a 16’ wall as an example (Image 4A):

• 2nd Row, Cut one panel in half and install with the cut
end to the outside edge of your coverage area. Install
4’ then 8’ then 4 feet.
• Row 3, same as bottom row, and then repeat as
necessary.
05. DEALING WITH CUTOUTS:
Keep a sample piece of panel to assist with measuring for electrical cut outs etc.
• Place your sample on top of the panel, and directly beside the edge of the outlet or cut out that you require.
• Measure from the end of the panel to the cut out, mark the wall on both sides. Repeat for top and bottom.
• Remove the panel and place it face down on a clean surface. Mark measurements on the back of the panel.
• Drill the inside corners of the cutout with a 3/8” drill bit. Use a jigsaw to remove the remaining cutout.
Helpful info: If cutting an electrical cut out, use a plastic Box Extender so your installation will meet code requirements
